The foundation began with the Weidman siblings, who grew up working in their uncle’s repair shop, where they learned not only the technical side of automotive repair but also the importance of treating customers like family.
In 1998, Patrick Weidman and his brother Bob opened their first location, Grove Street Auto Repair in Franklin, MA. Their mission was simple: provide honest, high-quality auto repair with a focus on craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
Over the past 25+ years, that mission has remained unchanged while the family of shops has grown. In January 2024, Advanced European Repair was added to meet the demand for specialized European vehicle service. Then, on February 25, 2025, Shovel Town Auto Service proudly became the third location, bringing the same trusted values to Easton, Mansfield, Norton, and the greater Bristol County community.
